Dastouri Lab is a scientific laboratory conducting innovative research led by assistant professor Dr. Mohammadreza Dastouri at Medipol University. Our laboratory is dedicated to advancing healthcare through projects in the following key areas:
Stem Cell Regenerative Medicine: We are investigating the regenerative potential of stem cells to develop new methods to repair damaged tissues and treat various diseases.
Cancer Immunotherapy:Our research focuses on strategies to enhance the immune system’s ability to fight cancer, aiming to create more effective treatment options.
Cell Reprogramming:Research into transforming cells into specific types plays an important role in producing therapeutic cells for clinical applications. Using Exomes and miRNA: Exomes, small vesicles essential for cell-to-cell communication, are being studied for their potential applications in regenerative medicine, contributing to advances in healthcare. Beyond scientific research, Dastouri Lab is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists by providing educational opportunities for students and young researchers. Through interdisciplinary collaborations, we aim to expand our impact, develop innovative solutions to urgent health problems, and pave the way for future medicine.
